Bossy E words are words where the E tells the vowel to say it’s name. Read these bossy E words (older brother or sister or Mom or Dad help):

We found a spider and named it Soyer. I think he might be a Globosa but he is so small it is hard to tell what he is.

0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 are the main numbers. The main numbers make up the other numbers for example 2 and 5 make 25 or 52. 10 is not a main number but it comes after 9.

When you add by 1 you go 1 above the number you are adding 1 to; for example 1+1= what is 1 higher than 1 is 2 so the answer to 1+1= is 2. Here is some addition problems for you answers are at the end:

  1. 1+1=
  2. 1+2=
  3. 1+3=
  4. 1+4=
  5. 1+5=
  6. 1+6=
  7. 1+7=
  8. 1+8=
  9. 1+9=

Here are the answers:

  1. 1+1=2

Gladys Aylward

Gladys Aylward is my favorite missionary.

  1. Gladys Aylward was a missionary to China.
  2. She adopted two hundred children but was never married.
  3. A price was put on her head.
  4. Gladys Aylward was called Ai weh-te which in Chines means “The Virtuous Woman.”
  5. Sometimes she was called Ai weh-deh which in Chines means “The Small Woman.”

She never gave up faith in Christ.

The Little Rabbit

Once upon a time there was a tiny little rabbit called Jack. The little rabbit wanted to have a adventure. One day the rabbit was having a picnic with his friend Peter.

When they went to pick berries Peter heard a wolf and turned and hopped away. Jack did not see Peter go and did not hear the wolf. Suddenly the wolf jumped out and tried to catch Jack. Jack hopped as fast as he could. Luckily a river was close. Jack took his biggest hop ever. And when the wolf tried to get him it fell into the river.

When Jack was sure the wolf was far enough down the stream he hopped over the river again.

What a story he had to tell mom.
